Disappearances Becoming Alarming, Authorities Report    Unexplained disappearances have risen to hundreds of thousands in the US alone, there seems to be no specific type or age that is vanishing, nor are they disappearing from any one place. So far the only thing they all have in common is religion.
       When we say religion we aren't meaning one specific religion, but that these people are all devout, not fanatic but devout. Most live quiet lives, helping in their neighborhoods and serving as true examples of what their faith teaches.
       The most surprising fact is that many who see themselves as the pillars of their faiths have not disappeared. Though the Vatican has gone quiet, and rumors abound that the Pope is among those who have vanished. In truth very few of the religious leaders have turned up missing, most of those humble and quiet who seem more than content to lead their small community to salvation. Some are starting to whisper that it is Christ coming to claim His chosen, but those who whisper such have yet to explain while many of those taken are not Christian.

Very Unusual Storm Expected to Hit East Coast    While the south does it's best to deal with snow, the east coast, including much that has already been hit with the snowy weather, is now bracing for a storm that is blowing in off the Atlantic, in almost a straight line and looks to run from the northern polar ice, to the southern. This storm built over the Chinese deserts and started moving East in direct defiance of local weather patterns, and has left destruction in its wake. While holding the characteristics of neither a tornado or a hurricane, the level of damage it is leaving behind is on par with both as if the two combined. Ships in the Atlantic, have been and at being tossed like toy boats in a bathtub with an excited kid, the Atlantic Fleet scrambling to keep the damage suffered to a minimum, and smaller ships and boats not surviving at all.
       As a result there are large surges starting to hit the coast, causing some flooding, so the locks will be closed to minimize the flooding within the wall, this is being done in all the walls up and down the East Coast. Once the danger has passed they will be reopened. The storm is expected to make landfall here in New York City, sometime late tonight or early tomorrow morning, it is uncertain how long it will last before moving on as it seems to have picked up speed over the ocean. People are asked to take precautions and be prepared for outages and severe weather.
